Buckland Village concert (with Vocal Edge)

Again this year, we were delighted to be asked to sing at Buckland Aged Care Facility, Springwood, in the hall on a sunny Sunday afternoon.
Vocal Edge, a female barber shop group, were also singing a few of their iconic melodies, and we joined them for a couple of songs. Lead by Amanda, they sing predominantly modern barber shop arrangements in a variety of genres such as jazz, pop, swing and gospel.
The room was packed with many from different parts of the facility, and also with our friends and family - it was a free concert with afternoon tea following.Maybe they all came for that - it was a lovely varied spread of treats with cups of tea provided by the Residents Committee.
